Rules for citing and referencing

RULES FOR CITING AND REFERENCING LITERATURE

1. General Provisions

These rules establish the standards for citing and referencing literature in scientific and professional papers published in the journal. The aim is to ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency, and to enable readers to verify the sources used.
All authors are required to follow these rules. Manuscripts that do not comply will be returned for revision.

2. Citation System

The journal uses the footnote citation system (Chicago – Notes and Bibliography).
Sources are cited in numbered footnotes within the text.

A bibliography containing all cited sources, arranged alphabetically by the author’s surname, is included at the end of the paper.

Foreign names and titles are written in their original form, with transcription in parentheses if necessary.

3.1. Books

3.4. Repeated Citations of the Same Source

  • When the same source is cited consecutively: Ibid.

  • When the same book is cited consecutively but on a different page: Ibid., p. xx.

  • When citing the same source later in the text: Surname, Short Title, p. xx.

4. Special Notes

  • Titles of books, edited volumes, and journals are written in italics, while titles of articles and chapters are placed in quotation marks.

  • The bibliography at the end of the paper is listed in alphabetical order, without numbering.

  • Authors are encouraged to include DOI numbers or stable URLs wherever available.

  • Citation style must be consistent throughout the entire text.

  • The author is responsible for the accuracy of all bibliographic data.

5. Author Responsibility

The author guarantees that all sources are cited correctly and that no plagiarism or unauthorized use of others’ content has occurred. The editorial board and reviewers have the right to verify the accuracy of citations and bibliographic data.
